New Faces - New Beginning

When I walked in the halls of the campus of IAM with all new students headed the same way, I wondered if I would find the type of people I like being around. First day of orientation wasn't very great thanks to the boring speeches but I did manage to talk to someone :) If she is reading this she would know I'm talking about her. Anyway, the next day was a personal interaction with our Co-Ordinator,which was a little exciting. It surprised me that people from various states have come all the way to join this particular institute.

Third Day!! Perfect beginning... Our gang of 5 freaks, perfectly blending in together in a small period of time. Our field trip to Ambience Mall was a lotta fun. My friends were so enthusiastic about my camera...that one of them didnt want to let go of it. So, for most of the day it was CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK....wait I need to get a clos up...CLICK CLICK CLICK...wow amazing camera this is so awesome...CLICK CLICK CLICK... :) :) get the point?

Our classes start on monday and I can't wait for a new series of fun, torture and all sort of weirdness. Iam sooooooooo ready to ROCK AND ROLL \m/ \m/ \m/

Think Before Getting Offended

There is one thing I would like to ask all those people who are "Proud to be Indians", WHAT exactly are you proud of??

Are you proud of the never decreasing poverty? Even though the government can help decrease it, they don't! Because all the money they have stashed in their lockers are being spent for their unnecessary personal agendas.
Are you proud of the unmanageable roads and railways? For example: in the morning I was at the Nizamuddin Railway Station dropping mum off and just to get a damn platform ticket I ended up exploring the filthy station. The so called "enquiry" cabin was empty with just a chair sitting and staring back at blank faces, some moron behind another cabin had said to go downstairs and take the token from the machine which had mysteriously disappeared. And as for the roads, they're good but some places need replacement!
Are you proud of the unorganized government? The ill-treatment of lower class crowd? The filthiness on the roads and hospitals? Oh....HOSPITALS! Govt. hospitals which is meant for the lower middle class crowd is dirty, infectious, filthy and I'm not talking about the people I mean the building. The staff or doctors are of absolutely no use and it’s an utter waste of time trying to take directions/instructions from them.
Are you proud of the "idea" of democracy which is gradually eliminating thanks to some useless ministers? Are you proud of the non-co-operation? I don't think Indians even know the meaning of co-operation! People here don't even know how to drive or follow road and traffic rules for that matter, and I don't totally blame them because the govt. doesn't pay attention to minor or major details until and unless it gets really out of hand and someone ends up getting hurt or dead...

Anyway, the only development I see is the entrĂ©  of more crappy people in the government. Again I repeat, NO OFFENSE. Now you might think what about the transport facility? Metro? Yeah..well there are a few things that have improved which is good but just because of these small improvements you shouldn't ignore the fact that things that need to be fixed aren't getting fixed and  even though we rebel, nothing has ever been acted upon.

According to the website: http://uk.oneworld.net/guides/india/poverty?gclid=CILIqo727qkCFUYYHAodvSb6YQ  Investment decisions empowered by a strong economy have failed to target some of the key characteristics of poverty in India. The 2011 budget claims that as much as 36.4% of national expenditure is earmarked for “social spending”.

RISE AND FALL

Life is a roller-coaster, I agree totally. But how to differentiate the ups from the downs, that depends on the person. I prefer looking at the ups, because I would rather correct my mistakes and move forward than sitting and moaning over them (downs). Everybody goes through a hard and an easy phase in life, which come on and off.
Anyway, the hard phase in my life is back but I'm beginning to cope with it and I have to deal with it further. The easy phase is fading away slowly but its good for how long can one have fun in life...especially at my age. Therefore, I'm waiting for my college to start so I get busy in life and don't have to think about stupid and useless things which don't really matter and are utter waste of time. I want to keep myself busy because that way I won't think about the past too much and save time to think about the present and the future. Sometimes I get too caught up in the past that I deviate from the path I had set. Which obviously is NOT good.

The things that I worry about now is 1) My college years go by smoothly with lots of success 2) my sister  should get rid of all the worries and take a chill pill 3) I hope to make my parents and sister proud.

Everybody faces the Rise and Fall in the course of living, you just have to decide how to cope with it. When people look at me they don't believe I'm 18 because of the way I talk! My sister tells me that I'm growing up too fast..LOL. But in a way its good, that I know what decisions to make. Cheers!
